The Service was very well attended, estimates of 300 people have been made.  There were many familiar faces from many different groups of family and friends.  The reception following the service featured a great table of sandwiches, and dessert treats.  Although it was crowded, there was plenty of snacks, and many interesting people to meet.

A great collection of people, typical of the many different circles of friendships this couple enjoyed.  Seeing Jakob at the service, surrounded by his cousins, was great, and several of the children attending had their first chance to visit and "play" with Jakob.  At one point towards the conclusion there was a soccer ball, flying around the parking lot, having just left the foot, of Jake.   Perhaps there is a soccer team looking for a "Winger", who can kick the ball...

May 5th, Celebration of Life for Elwyn D. Rowlands and Kim D. Wolfe.

May 5th is Kim's birthday, and many friends have organized this day as a special one, to remember the family.

The schedule of events "DO NOT" include any celebration or party, at the couple's home!! 

The Rowlands family requests that the property not be involved in any event(s). 

We are looking for assistance and ideas for organizing this day, so please let us know, if you can help.   Please bring Music, tunes etc., they would enjoy.  We are also encouraging all to bring your Elwyn  photographs and any images of the family.  These will be displayed during our time together. 

The Maurice Young Millennium Place Theater has been arranged.  We have made arrangements for displaying Elwyn's photographs, and other family items, in the Reception Area.  The schedule of events begin at 1600hrs, (04:00pm), and will include:

            A Birthday Party for Kim, Caesar Salad;

            Background slide presentation of family images with music;

            A friendship gathering, share brief thoughts, or personal story (1 minute);

            Maurice Young Reception with Birthday Cake;

Baked Goods are Welcome

            Buffalo Bill's Gathering 1800hrs-

featuring Still Smokin'  and Friends

Many friends are bringing in Elwyn's photographs, and prints.  We hope to inventory these, and raise money for the Trust Fund by selling reproductions of these images.

This was a great Celebration, and the organizers, Brian Brown, Jan Simpson, June Paley, and Christopher Raymond thank all who attended the Celebration of Life, at Maurice Young Millennium Place, and the Buffalo Bill's Silent Action, and wake, afterwards.
