As we begin the development of our mapping services, we offer the following link to McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd. 

This link opens to a Vancouver & Surrounding Municipality Imagery.   On The Lower Right, you will see a "Quick Zoom Window", with Whistler and Pemberton identified.  Move to the Municipality name, and "Click to Zoom."

The Whistler Imagery will open and display "Whistler" with the local golf courses.  "Click the Imagery, to "Zoom" Down, turn on the street names, and look for you house!

Golf Course Mapping Services:

1. Mapping Plot of your course with your Course Name and Logo.  This could be displayed in your club house, and copies could also be sold in your Pro Shop!

2. The production of a Static 3D View, to assist with planning new fairways or modifing existing course features.  We can also producte 3D flythorughs along each fairway, or some route along the entire golf course.  Visit this link for a Demo: http://www.mapsbyair.com/workshop/vns/vns.html.   This demo shows a flythrough at Surrey Golf Course.  These static 3D views, or flythroughs could be placed on your website to increase interest, in visiting your golf course.

3. Another serivce we provide through MapsbyAir.com, is were we show a high resolution airphoto over their course, and then add addtional information about the course.  This would be setup as a link to your Golf Course's web site, so that visitors can see photos and other information.

4. Our fourth service is designed for your course administration.   This would include adding all of your golf course assets into a digital map for using GIS.  Once course features such as: bunkers, sprinkler head locations, fairways, basll washers, trees, roughs etc., are in the GIS, information can be attached to them, such as sprinkler head brand, when it was replaced/reparied, spray radius etc.   They can user this GIS tool to imrpove course management.  Check out this GIS used by the Richmond Golf Course:
